1. Creating a New Translation Memory

Before creating a new translation memory, please close any currently open translation memory by clicking menu Memory > Close.

 

arrowTo create a new translation memory:

On the Memory menu click New.
Select source and target languages.
Enter Name, Description and Copyright Notice of your new translation memory.
Click Create button.

 

2. Using Existing Translation Memory

You can use either MEM files, or import translation memory from a TMX (TMX 1.1, TMX 1.4) file.

 

arrowTo open AnyMem compact translation memory file:

On the Memory menu click Open.
Select browse for required MEM file.
Click Open button.

 

arrowTo import a translation memory from TMX file:

Open translation memory, where TMX data must be imported to.
On the Memory menu click Import from TMX.
Browse for source TMX file.
Click Open button.
Configure import settings. See Import from TMX topic for details.
Click OK button.

Please ensure that source and target language of the TMX memory file match source and target language of AnyMem translation memory, were you are importing TMX data.
