Document menu contains document management options. Use this menu to connect to a document, repair tags, analyze document, and finalize translation. The following commands are available:
| • | Connect – open document for translation. You can either select one of documents currently opened in MS Word, or browse your PC for other MS Word documents, and then open and connect the required one. |
| • | Close – close currently open MS Word document. AnyMem will continue running. |
| • | Fix – repair damaged tags in translated text. AnyMem delimits segments with special tags. Use Fix command if you accidentally deleted a tag, or if tags and currently opened segment are incorrectly marked in the text. |
| • | Analyze – obtain count of full and fuzzy matches for selected file, or a number of files. Count results are broken down by file types. |
| • | Pretranslate – translate matching segments in selected documents, using currently open translation memory. |
| • | Finalize – hide source segments, so that only translated content remains in document, and write translated sentences into memory. You can select minimum match percentage of segments which must be written into translation memory. After AnyMem has finished finalizing the document, you can view results of translation memory update in segments, words or percents. |
