General section of translation memory configuration window contains the following translation memory information:
| • | File name: name of MEM file, which contains current translation memory. |
| • | Path: location of MEM file, which contains current translation memory. |
| • | Source Language: language, in which source entries are stored in current translation memory. This language can be selected only once, when creating a new translation memory. |
| • | Target Language: language, in which translations of source entries are stored in current translation memory. This language can be selected only once, when creating a new translation memory. |
| • | Notes: these can contain no more than 255 characters and can be entered only once, when creating a new translation memory. |
| • | Created by: user, who created current translation memory. |
| • | Created on: date, when current translation memory was created. |
General translation memory information cannot be edited after the translation memory has been created.
