Memory menu can be used to create, open an import/export translation memory files. The following commands are available:
| • | New – create new memory. Unavailable if translation memory is open. |
| • | Open – load a translation memory from compact MEM translation memory file. Only one translation memory can be open at a time. |
| • | Configure – edit translation memory settings. See Configuration topic for details. |
| • | Close – close currently open translation memory. Unless the translation memory is closed, New and Open options are unavailable. |
| • | Info – display information (number of segments in translation memory, translation memory file location and version, date of creation and author) about currently open translation memory in a separate dialog. |
| • | Import from TMX – import translation memory from translation memory exchange files (TMX 1.1 or TMX 1.4) to your currently open translation memory. |
| • | Export – export your currently open translation memory to translation memory exchange file (TMX 1.1 or TMX 1.4). |
