Template in AnyMem determines the layout of Document Source and Translation Memory display, i.e. which elements in which way will be displayed in AnyMem main window during work.

The template is divided into two fields, which can be edited by clicking respective tabs on the left side of AnyMem Template Editor window:

Document Source displays source text of selected segment.
Translation Memory displays matches for the selected text in translation memory

Use variables to allocate various elements of AnyMem Source and Translation Memory display.

Example:

Template code

AnyMem window will display

template_display_2

anymem_display

template_display

In this example "Document:" and "Target:" strings are simple text. Notice that AnyMem preserved formatting of this text in the template.

Code, separated with square brackets is variable code. We added document source language and document source icon, and since in this translation memory source language is English, AnyMem returned "English (United States)" and US flag in the Document Source field of AnyMem window.
